What's New:

Seven Tyrants 2011 Season

7Tyrants Theatre
We’ve been organizing and finalizing plans for a couple of months, but at last we are super thrilled to announce the following productions for 2011:

First, we are very excited to remount The Bucky Show at Science World on May 12th, 13th and 14th at 8pm as part of the BC Year of Science. This production is the first for which Seven Tyrants Theatre received a modest government grant, and we graciously acknowledge the contribution of the BC Ministry of Science in helping to make this project happen.

From June 29th to July 24th, we will present A Good Woman of Setzuan in the pristine environmental setting of the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. This re-imagining of Brecht’s classic will draw from several translations and include an original musical score performed by the ensemble.

And in the week leading up to Halloween 2011, Seven Tyrants Theatre will present an original murder mystery to scare and disturb the senses: Judge Dee and The Haunted Garden is based on the classic Chinese “Judge Dee” detective stories. Judge Dee leads fright-seeking audiences of all ages through the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden in this interactive ghost story.

More details and information will be posted as it becomes available, including ticket info! Stay tuned.
