An outstanding run for The China Tea Deal
Wow! The China Tea Deal had an incredible run this summer!
Throughout June, July and August 2009, over 500 people came down to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden to take part in the second chapter of Seven Tyrants’ exciting historical fairytale saga.

Every Thursday and Sunday, a fresh group of low-life scallywags signed up as the crew of an East India Company expedition to China, led by their fearless Lord Admiral Bispin Woodfellow.
In the space of one sun-setting hour, audiences of all ages travelled to the garden city of Suzhou in 1701, and found themselves at once attackers, prisoners and guests. After a rousing journey through the Scholar’s exquisite garden-home (basked in live traditional Chinese music), Oolong tea was served for all as the crew helped decide the fate of our venture.
Thanks to our incredible ensemble and to the wonderful staff and volunteers at The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. And of course…
Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy The China Tea Deal!
It was a very special summer and we hope to see you again next year…
